For all those people with exception errors .... hopeless? |
|
Prolly the best RPG i ever seen ...
Prolly the only one I cannot play because of too many crashes (exception errors, access violation errors, ....)
And when I say I, after reading and reading again the whole forum, lots of people are living the same VERY bad experience ...
To sum up :
- Tons of crashes, corrupt files, access violation and so on errors .... game unplayable.
- Very different hardware configurations ... same problems
- Every other game or program runs fine, Gothic NOT
- No solution, despite all efforts of those very helpful people here
PB support totally silent ... no answer, no patch, no help.
What else ?

Okkkkkkk.........................
What OS are you running? whats your PC stats? have the right version of directx on? latest video card drivers?
I used to get a lot of fatal exceptions etc when i had win 95/98 and only 256 ram and a small hard drive...
These errors are normally hardware related i believe, likely to be somthing attached to your motherboard is causing these crashes, OORRRRR your PC isnt setup right (old drivers)
very hard for me to tell with few details _________________ "There are many questions which fools can ask that wise men cannot answer."

Do you have an old sound card? My game used to crash all the time until I disabled sound. |
