Alchemy and Dragon blood question

I just want to get one thing straight with alchemy...
1. how do i learn to make potions from the goblin barries or the +strength potions? i have all the ingridients and i know how to make the 1st health potion. Do i have 2 learn how to make all the remaining health and mana potions before i can make the better potions? i gave the plant that grew near the black troll to the witch lady in the cave near onar and she offers to teach me health and mana. i am a lvl 20 paladin and i just entered chap 4 if that makes any diff
another with hunting...
2. when do i learn how 2 get dragon blood etc. i talked 2 gorn entering VOM chapter 4 and he told me 2 lines and thats it nothing about teaching. I bought him out of jail. shouldnt he teach me how 2 get the dragon blood etc?

thanks

You need to learn all three health OR all three mana potions. Once you do that, Sagitta teachs dex and spirit, constantino teaches str and health, ignaz teaches speed, Neoras teaches spirit. Those I know for sure.

i see thats good info thanks... now i need an opinion... in light of the fact that one strength dex etc potion can be used more than once (drinking it while enemy attacks) is it worth investing the points into alchemy at my level (i am level 20 in chapter 4) or should i up my one handed and my crossbow?

I would wait til ch 5 to learn as you have many more learning points to put into str and dex yet. I would up weapons, dex and str before learning potions. But, it's well worth it in the end. Considering you spend 20-30 lp on potions and get much more str, dex, or mana out of them. Just know this, there are only 21 or 22 king's sorrel out there to be bought or found, so choose carefully which stats to increase and by how much.

Even without cheating you can get a strength that more than say 200. You can kil Orcs in one blow in the end, it's not worth cheating
