Deus Ex 3?

GameGossip is speculating about a possible Deus Ex 3, because Eidos has registered deusex3.com...

Um, the URL was registered in October of 2000. And anyone could've deduced that a DX3 was being planned based on an interview of Warren Spector several months ago.

/yawn

After they consoled-up the game and crushed the spirit and flavour of DX, Eidos won't be getting money from me on that or any future release. Let them shovel their crap on the X-box until they rot.

IF this is true, it could well be the final act of undiluted evil that opens the gates of hell and spells the end of civilisation as we know it...

They ALMOST got me to pre-order the game... but am I glad I didn't go through with that. What a piece of junk DX2 was.

Yes, the downside of capitalism - the persuit of the lowliest denominator possible to attract the most number of customers possible. Where all creativity is wasted on finding new ways to dump the cheapest crap possible to produce on the customer, instead of on the creation of the product itself.

I never even bothered picking up Invisible War. Lucky, I pay attention to reviews before I buy.

What a shame...the original was captivating. Oh well. I have higher hopes for Thief 3, though the game engine doesn't impress me much.
