Gloves of the Rose +5

In chapter two, I just found the gloves of the rose +5 (or was that white rose?). The stats are to-hit: +5, damage: +1 electrical.

Now, if I wear those gloves, and use unarmed attack, does that mean that my fists will hit as a +5 weapon? I.e. almost nothing will be immune to them? Or do they just add +5 bonus to hit and do not act as an enhanced weapon at all?

The +1 electrical will affect creatures that might not normally be affected by your fist. My monk used those gloves and found nothing that would not fall to my flying fists.

the +5 is for 'to hit'. Meaning you roll to see if you hit, and add 5 to that role. the extra damage is the +1 lighting damage.

I personally prefer the gloves of Hin Fist(?) or whatever they are called. The ones that do sonic damage. I have them in +4 variety and they do 1d4 sonic damage. There is nothing like them when it comes to skellies...

Every once in a while I'll get an army of skellies to fight me just because I feel like the opening scene of Matrix (the movie). I can drop 4-5 skellies before they can even swing a single weapon at me.
