Has anyone experienced problems in Trynton? I can't go to the tree with the guards in front of it. My computer kicks me out of the game. It's done it about a dozen times in various places in the Trynton area.

Actually, there is a patch available for it. I believe it is now version 1.24. It can be found and d/l'd at the official site, I think it's just http://www.wizardry8.com
I recommend upgrading it..that seemed to help some weird things in my game. Note though, that they made the AI of NPC's better, so when you pickpocket them, they notice stuff is missing after a while!!

After a little research, I found that this problem isn't limited to Trynton, as it can happen anywhere and anytime. I was getting booted out of the game and into the desktop without any error messages; I only thought it was because I just entered Trynton. I downloaded the lastest patch and that didn't fix the problem. Copying the LEVELS.SLF file from CD3 to the game directory did fix the problem. If you read this, keep it in mind for future reference
