You'll have to travel over mountains. For details, check the thread by PornCop.

Hey, anyone manage to kill the Super Orc? The one wearing the massive armor and using a human's sword.

I lured all the farmers to him to fight him together, but he took them all down!

Also, does anyone know the stats of the 2-handed sword that one of the bandit's drop? The bandits that assault the farm, but you have to help to stop.
One of the farmers picked up the sword before I could get to it.

[added]
Nevermind the sword. It was only 35dmg for 40str.

btw, I had to strafe through the spikes to get through it. I only had 106hp, so I couldn't just walk through.
Strafing is a little faster than running, and it didn't cause the spikes to trigger as quickly. (bug? )

Speaking of the G2 demo,

Is there anything 'special' about the rat cave in the valley? The 'headstone' says:

Lotar
721-762

Is that just a grave?

Also, in the demo I hit a button behind a counter and a wall came down to expose a chest. (In the upper level, I think the paladins castle) Can the chest be opened?

TIA ~T

The Paladins' castle? This is outside the "official" demo, right?

Anyway, you can learn lockpicking from the carpenter if you've given him the gold to pay his debt. He also sells lockpicks. So assuming this chest isn't the kind that requires a key, you should be able to open it.

I managed to get him to fight two skeleton Warriors. The Skeletons killed him for me. The sword he carries does 50 damage for 70 strength. If you can get them to fight one at a time the Orc Elite can manage one skeleton, that way you can get one of thier swords before the counter part kills the Orc. The Great thing about those skeletons is that they'll kill anything that isn't undead, even black warg's that chase you.

I led the Orc Elite to the farm and let the farmers have their way with him. Call me Mr. EasyWay.

srikandi: Yes, I actually forgot that I passed the 'nondemo' area after going into the upper level. I guess I would need a key then. For this I shall have to wait, I guess. BooHoo. heh

Any insight on the gravestone? Is it just a gravestone and nothing else? I suppose it could be meaningful in the full version.

Which brings me, incidentally, into the real need for this darn game to come out NOW. I can only go back to G1 so often, ya know? LOL

I killed the Orc Elite with arrows. It only took 6 shots to kill him.

The skeletons are the only enemies in the demo that I haven't killed. I think they respawn though.
Because I lured 2 of them to the Farm where the farmers killed them, but when I went back to the gravespot the 2 skeletons were still there.

I tried luring the farmers to the Orc Elite, but he wasted them in no-time.

Temptress, the gravestone is just a gravestone. In the full game you'll see more of them... even one graveyard where the Piranha Bytes guys are buried ...

Concerning the trap on the treasure island, there is an even easier way to get through it. In the room right before the trap there is a torch on the wall, pull it and the trap will be deactivated (at least in the full version, don't know about the demo)

Funny thing that everyone just tries to find a way "around" the trap, like strafing or jumping, but noone looks for the switch to turn it off (even in all the walkthroughs I read, everyone just tells you to avoid it )

ps: If you want to open all of the chests (one can't be lockpicked) you have to get a key from Cassia, the thieves guildleader. Again, no idea if that's in the demo.

Temptress: I've finally figured out the whole "button on the wall in Paladins' barracks" thing. Took me a while.

First off, you can get to the upper town in the "official" demo, if you become an apprentice. The guards will then let you pass. Most of the houses are empty, but there's some good loot. Definitely a good idea to take lockpick if you come here.

Second, the house with the button is the one on the main square to the right of the big house with the fence. It's the one with an outside ramp leading to the second floor, which appears to be a barracks (lots of beds). In the second upstairs room, there's a very visible button on the wall next to one of those lecterns.

What that button does is move a cupboard over, revealing a scroll of "forget" pinned to the wall.

There is also a chest in that room that needs a key to open it. The key is conveniently located in a chest in the other room, which can be lockpicked. So if you can pick locks, you can open both chests. But the chests have nothing to do with the button.

There. Whew!

Is there a way to get into the upper town without becoming an aprienttce?
I can't become one because I killed grita, and I'm already far in the game ( demo that is ) and I don't want to play from the begining.
