| couple more questions- spoil more |
|
1- I found a golden key in teh cave with poisons in farmland. The orc dropped the key. Where does it fit ?
2- I need to poison the orc water reserve but when i click on the well the game freezes. I went there by using shadow potions but still no luck. What do i do wrong?

I dont have the patch installed and i wonder if thay quest about poisoning the well is buggy and can get fixed with the patch.
I also wonder if we can get a knight armor like serk or lord richard. |

1. That key goes to a room at the Blue boar Inn
2. No idea what's causing that. 
3. Nope, you can't get those armors.

I have heard of this well poisoning bug.
In fact I think I even encountered it.
BUT... what to do about it I cant remember at all. LOL sorry.
I recall that I was just doing something wrong. Like for instance perhaps youre supposed to drag the barrel to the well, or equip it.
Sorry if that doesnt help.
There are two parts of the game that use this mechanic, and they are both bugged. The other is poisoning the tree. I remember that much. |

if you encounter freezes. you computer don't show the cutscene that soposes to appear.
you can momentarly switch your direct 3D to softwaremode.
this helped alot of gamers.
Also if you use winXP. Did you install the latest patch(1.34) with administrators rights? because sometimes the patch will not fully been installed.
is this the first time you game freezes when a cutscene has to start?

thx to all who saved a few minutes of his life to help this poor guy 
anyway
i have no patches installed so far
and no it isnt the first time i encountered freezes.
when i played for the first time i also encountered freezes two times then i restarted with a new character.
Now i restarted for the third time and no freezes so far.
If i encounter a freeze - hopefully not - i ll try what u suggested. Thx again ur help is much appreciated |

Um...
Divine divinity is one of my favorite rpgs.
But it shipped with around 4 'game ending unable to complete it' bugs and numerous crashing bugs.
So I would get the patch and run it as opposed to hitting one of the bugs and then asking about it.
The only crashing bug I experienced was with the ray of command spell.
It and scorpion traps were never fixed, in general Id say dont use those skills they are bugged. |
