All my SAVES just went corrupt! |
|
I saved near the South tower with the Demon and harpies in it at the vally of the mines. Now i can't load a single one!
WTF is this! My computer is virus free, no bad-sector on harddrive or anything, always runs like a dream. Then this shit happens!
I've played for like 30 Hours and DONT feel like starting over.
And NO i don't want others ppl's saves, its not the same..
Is there a way to recover them or am I just screwed?
SPECS : AMD1400, 1024 DDR, 80GB Maxtor, GeforceFX 5400. WINXP-PRO. DX 8.1..
Anyone else tried this.
BTW: support@piranha-bytes.com does not excist. And JoWood tells me to mail them... DAMN DAMN DAMN! |

You can only try 3 things:
1. Disable sound and set the graphics to absolute minimum. Then try to load. If it works immediately save in another slot.
2. Puzzle with the files of two similar saves. Maybe you can replace the corrupted file.
3. Mail PB, quote the JoWooD mail and ask them to repear your latest save. A contact address can be found at the bottom of the official page. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Something like that happened to me to. While I was saving the game crashed. Luckilly I aways save in 2 different slots, so I just loaded the game from the other slot. _________________ Team wins a war, not an individual. |

I doubt it. Arkane Studios did this for Arx, but Gothic 2 support sucks. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
