Mothership Computer

I'm supposed to destroy the T'Rang ship, and I'm playing around with the computer, but I can't get anything to actually change. I have got it to the point where it talks about decreasing the power, but I can't get it do that.

By the way I'm looking for a complete spoiler. I have gotten into the two rooms that are guarded by the T'Rang - one has the computer for the "Master Plan" for eliminating the Umpani - the room you get to by turning off the gas - and the other room has a switch that I turned from green to red (it has a couple of glassed off rooms on the sides, with an Overmind standing in the middle. Neither room gets me any farther with the computer.

Spoiler:
In the room with the "glassed off rooms", the switch needs to be in the red position, which you said you already did. Next, you need to get to the room were Z'Ant is and there will be another computer in there. Tell it to increase the breeding rate.

Aha. I've been telling it to do something else (some of it actually polite).

But... I feel so guilty betraying the T'Rang...even though the Umpani General told me that they broke a treaty. I think it's all propaganda.

That just gives you a reason to play the game at least 3 times--once for the Trang, once for the Umpani, and once for both.

I sense the influence of the dark side here.

Don't try to tell me that you haven't wanted to kill both groups at some point, Lintra.

I've actually left most of the T'Rang alive. They are severely disappointed with me, but not to the point where they want me dead. Is there any way to get into the Umpani ship area without betraying them?

I've now ditched Vi to go off to the Rapax Camp. I wish I'd dumped her earlier - she's a great fighter but she's been sucking up experience points forever. Next time I'll leave the NPC's alone and go for the power team of five or six.

In that case, I'll have to get to work.

Wellllll ....

*grin*

So far the Umpani haven't pissed me off too much. But then, I've not had all that many interactions with them ... YET!
