Thanks dteowner, what a great link! I wonder why outside sites have more info than elderscrolls.com puts on it's own page? It's kind of annoying, ya know?

All of the dates are speculation.

EDIT: Most information about the game comes from developers in the forum.

Probably because Bethsoft is trying to complete games, that's there business, and don't have time to maintain websites, which isn't there bread and butter. Whereas, Gone Gold business is relaying release dates not developing games. Both take valuable time.

If you have good utility under your web site, it takes maybe 2 min. and 26 seconds to add new news .

If you had plenty of developers you wouldn't be fighting the clock like Bethsoft is. Sometimes 2 minutes and 26 seconds is to much time to waste. The clock is always ticking and the game is not done. When it is done, they don't relax, they go onto the next development.

To answer the original question:
I would go for Morrowind. Regular version, since that includes a map and that's all I need besides the cd's and the games manual

BUT...BUT...as we all know Dungeon Siege has gone gold already and Morrowind will only come out in May...SO...pretty soon I'll be playing Dungeon Siege for the next month or two, hehe.
Untill Morrowind comes out ofcourse

Dungeon Seige here.

Both Chris Taylor(very good game designer) & Jeremy Soule(musician that makes music in games matter) are working on this game. Both of which kick ass! I put my trust in PEOPLE, not publishers. But I must say Morrowinds graphics look nice.

(By the way, the last time those too worked together was an RTS, Total Annihilation, which was a very, very good game.)

Oh and didn't Chris Taylor design the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale interface???
