Sleep Inducing Films courtesy of Chekote

This topic is about when you saw a film, but however due to boredom you fell alseep watching it. Likewise which film was so boring you wished had fallen asleep.

Please try not include films you seen before, even I tried the Star Wars movie marathon and fell asleep during The Empire Strikes Back.

Fell asleep, during Cats and Dogs and wished I caught some Z's during A River Runs Through It. (Robert Redford directs and I think its about fishing.)

I hope nobody says they fell asleep during Insomnia.

Fell asleep during The Langoliers. I nodded off & woke up again about 3 times and the film was still on - It seemed about 9 hours long! And I've tried to watch Malcolm X three times and have run out of steam every single time. I still haven't seen it to the end. Quite annoying, because I was enjoying it.

Wish I'd fallen asleep before going to see The Rock, to save me the price of the ticket!

Only movie that ever made me sleep (or at least wish to sleep) was this Apollo X (I do not know the number). So long, so boring and I had such big expectations, because everybode said it is perfect film.

I've never managed to watch the whole of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. My brain gets addled, and I start giggling and shouting "Space Monkeys!" whenever people in EVA suits come on. Shortly thereafter my brain gives out completely and I drift off to sleep. Really weird.

But anyway, yeah - never managed to sit through that one.

One film I really wanted to fall asleep in was Solaris. It didn't make any sense, nothing ever happened, there were too many shots staring out portholes into white nothingness, and about a fifteen-minute section depicting Russian traffic really showed how "artistic" it was meant to be. I couldn't let myself fall asleep in it because it was in a double-bill with Dark Star. All my concentration went into making sure I saw Dark Star on the big screen - well worth it!

Shouldnt that be "Sleep inducing films"?

The title you have would suggest a film that was induced by sleep. I can think of plenty of films that were most likely induced by drugs, but none for sleep
