Maybe this is a useless and stupid question, but how does the "who's online?" list work? I find some people on it all the time, but they seem to have 0 posts. So how is that? |

If somebody has registered to the forums AND is logged in AND has "Hide your online status:" set to No in his or her profile AND is or has been browsing the forums (or site in general?) during the last few minutes (?) AND you are doing the same at the same time, you can see his or her name in the "Who's online" box.
Of course one can be registered without ever posting anything, to take advantage of the advanced features (tm) of RPGDot and the forums.

Everybody who accesses any of the sites in the network or this forum is visible. Some are registered users and they have there name shown. The rest are labeled as guests. Guests always have 0 posts. Some people have an account for the mere reason of being able to filter the news on RPGDot. They never post and use there account for other things.
As said, the visitors can be anywhere, either on this forum or visiting one of the sites.
