4+ channel surround in Gothic 2?
   

Don't have gothic2 yet, but I will tonight!

So I was wondering, does it make use of 4+ channel sound the way some other games do? (so you can have speakers in front of you and behind you?)

I think gothic1 had this, but it's been so long I can't quite remember...

I want to know if I should get my surround speakers hooked up...

I have the SounbBlaster 5.1 surround sound speakers and yes it does use the positional sound. The sound in this game is AWESOME. The ambient sounds in the world bring it to life.
