| Old Fort with Focus Stone |
|
Gothic I - PC. At the old fort where one of the focus stones was and a troll. AFter going up the big/tall steps to the top, there is a large troll and a chest across a chasim. How do you get across the chasim to get into the chest?
I killed the troll already using a fire storm rune. I couldn't do this earlier so I left and came back to finish this up----I'm now into Chapter 5 trying to build up skill levels.
Also, in the tower with the harpies, how do you get up the upper most ladder. I keep falling downing and so far not able to jump when I reach the top of the latter????

The chest: Either jump across with acrobatics or use a transformation scroll to get over there, just experiment around if your mind is set on exploring the chest.
About the ladder: I can't remember having had trouble with a ladder at the old mountain fortress.

I didn't train in acrobatics and tried several transformation scrolls but have not found one that worked.

I remember having such a problem... The only solution is a jump once you estimate you're near the top (right before you fall). The reward for potential frustration is worth-wile, trust me. |

The matter with the chest ya should be able to get over with Bloodfly ... About the ladder i must agree with Jaz that i didnt have any troubles as far as i remember ... But try to use the jumptrick !!!
