i got up to around level 4 and i have the map for the mine except i closed the mine door you know the big steal one you need to turn with a crank i came back latter and the damn door wont open now i tried turning it multible times i dont have a backup so i cant go back.. any ideas another way into the mine? or is there another way to open the door yes i tried starving the people in the mine  |

Ha, funny. 
Save the game, then Load it again.
When you re-Load a saved game, it debugs the game automatically.
Let me guess, you still have your Gothic open? |

Hi, i'm on episode 2 and i need to go back
to the mine but same thing happend to me
whatever i reload any saved games, the damn
gate doesn't open.....i can enter the mine
if i use the ore nuggets on the right wall of
the mine (inside) but i get stuck inside the
mine.......any one have idea how to fix the
damn fu#$# gate bug?????? |

Use a cheat to bypass the wall. Open your stats screen by pressing S and type in marvin. Press S again to get out of status screen. Proceed to the gate and press the letter K. This will make your character move past the blocked door. |

There should be no reason to why the gate doesn't open.
Reboot your system. Reboot Gothic. Then try again, and again, until the winch works.
I'm guessing that it's the winch that's bugging, right? |
