Basic Server Rules

While we want everyone to use and enjoy this games server, there are some basic rules to be observed which will enhance your gaming experience.

1. You are playing with other people. So, keep in mind their level of enjoyment too. It's not as much fun when someone spoils the game for others. Share loot and keep the party happy.
2. Don't purposefully kill neutral or friendly NPCs. It could break quests and ruin the game for others.
3. You're on a team now, try to stick with the group if you can. Pay attention to the dialogs and keep track of quests using your journal. This can avoid unnessecary confusion.
4. As soon as you are in the party, switch to "Party" chat. That way, everyone can keep communicating even when in different areas.
5. Respect other players and they'll respect you.
6. Have fun role-playing. Don't role-play something blatantly inappropriate however, unless you have previously consulted with the DM about it and gotten their okay. Keep a sense of humor.
7. In general, a party of players should nominate a leader of some sort for the game. Whether that person has the highest charisma or intelligence is not necessary. That leader will help direct the party and speak to NPCs that affect the plot. This individual should be someone who can show up to sessions on a regular basis if the DM is running a module that lasts for several sessions.
