Short poem

Down the winding pathway, in the garden old
Tripped to beauteous maiden (but her heart was cold)
Came a Prince to woo her, said his love was true
Maiden said he didn't- so he ceased to woo

Came a perfumed Noble, dropping on one knee
Said his love was deeper, than the deepest sea
But the winsome maiden said his love was dead
And the perfumed noble accepted what she said

Came a dashing stranger, took her off by force
Said he'll make her love him
And she did- of course!

Thats a good one. I don't know the name of it, but I like poems with that kind of pace. Anyone read the ASoIaF series by GRR MArtin? The poems in that are kind of similar. You know what I'm talking about? Like hikoo's are a certain way?

Another one by Boyd Rice:

To make a girl,
God takes sweetness and lace,
Adds ribbons and dimples,
And a smile for the face,

A care-free laugh, and a winsome wink;
Some giggles, some curls, and a touch of pink;
And he stirs in more love, than there is tea in China-
And to round it all out, he includes a vagina
