I like giving blood too, but they wouldn't take my blood. They said I was on drugs.
... and in all truth I was... prescription drugs!

Rainstorm... I don't think Duke Forever is ever coming out.

It would make you wonder what is taking it so long. They have been in development about as long as Morrowind. What was cutting-edge technology when they started development might be old-school when (and if) Duke comes out. I think they are shooting for Christmas-June 2003.

So, all in all Gothic 2 is the most wanted game here then? What a surprise!

Well, I almost forgot Warcraft III, so thank you for reminding me.

I actually think most of these games will be 2003 games due to delays, and that goes for Gothic 2 as well.

They've been promising Duke Nukem Forever longer than I've been playing computer games! There was an article on it in the first gamimg magazine I ever bought and the magazine isn't even around anymore!

Gothic 2, Unreal 2, Morrowind... and, of course, Thief 3! Hehe .

About Duke Nukem 4ever... hmmm... I remember another 3DRealms game which had been promised to us year after year before it became a basket case... Prey!!!

Thanks Dezed, I am now waiting for GTA 3 and Mafia, they're the same sort of games. But Mafia was in the '50/'60 and GTA 3 in the past I think...

Will there be a Thief 3? I thought Looking Glass went bye bye!

Looking Glass may be dead, but Warren Spector and Jim-I-Forgot-His-Name are still alive... I guess.

And they'll be giving us Deus Ex 2 and Thief 3... they have to!

They started with the Quake2 engine and were almost done when they decided to swap to the Unreal engine.(and had to redo more or less everything)
They then of course upgraded to the Unreal Tournament engine which added more time.(but also features)
They're also modifying the engine and added stuff to it.(skeletal animation IIRC)
But,it doesn't mean it'll be dated, look at half life, that uses the Quake engine.(not Q2 as claimed here and there)

About Prey...not sure if they ditched it or not...they always aimed to release it after DNF.
It's suppposed to have an engine made by themselves.

1. NeverWinter Nights
2. Warcraft 3
3. Dungeon Seige
4. Unreal 2
5. Gothic 2

*Would be GTA3 but I have it on PS2.
*Morrowind doesn't appeal to me. Looks like Summoner-type story (which wasn't amazing) with good graphics to me.
