Lower Bluff questions

I've done a couple things down here that don't seem to accomplish anything. I think I did them both with my winning party also. Anyway, there's a button on the wall "Gas control sign: FIX ME". I've hit it several times with no obvious effect. Also, there's a locked room with an overseer in it and a switch. Anyone care to tell me if these two things do anything, cuz I sure can't figure it out myself...

Yah. That gas switch turns off the knockout gas trap on the combo-lock door (where the T'rang guard say is off limits). The switch is part of the Umpani quest to kill the T'rang ship.

Thanks. I'm planning on doing a bug extermination this time thru, but I haven't turned on them yet. First time thru, I completed the alliance. Guess I should have just been a little more patient.
