Flaming Sword in Gothic?

All,

Just bought this game from BestBuy (sorry, I'm late) and I'm loving it. Just wanted to know if there were any Flaming 2H swords in the game.

One could say there is a specific flaming sword. The details would contain too many spoilers.
Piranha Bytes chose to stay realistic with the ingame weapons.

The Name of the Sword is Uriziel.

You obtain it in chapter 5.

Is it 2H? Does it have a flaming effect?

Hehehe, thanks! I like the games' flaming torches and was considering how cool it would look on a sword.

Btw, Gothic 2 looks very similiar in graphics to the original Gothic. What are the differences with the games?

Besides setting things on fire.
It's 2H.
Differences? Bigger and better.

Actually there is a "burning sword" or so its title says. You can draw and use the weapon but there are no textures for it. So in other words it's invisable. That's only if you like using invisibles swords. It does cause like 500 damage.

Ok, so if there are no flaming swords, are there any swords that have special effects in the game? Or are they all just metallic looking?

Thanks,

I think your thinking of Fire and Ice bolts, which are spells not the crossbow kind.
