NWN 's "legal" char. issue |
|
okay, i cheated...i went into the ~ screen and used to debug mode to add a couple of extra intelligence points to my character. while i know this isn't legal it is for home use only. except, now that i have finished the 1st chapter it won't let me advance my character. i keep getting a message that my character isn't "legal" and has too many points. thanks, but how do i turn this off? i know in the server version of the game you can tell it to allow illegal characters and i want to do this for the normal campaign. how do i turn off/on this option? _________________ "The origin of things, if things have an origin, cannot be revealed to me, if revealed at all, until I have travelled very far from it, and many revolutions of the sun must precede my first dawn. Dude, maybe I could read your post if you wouldn't type in red text. It's kinda hard to read, makes my eyes hurt. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

Try the following:
Go to your NWN directory
Look for the file "nwnplayer.ini"
Edit it
Look for a line reading "Single Player Enforce Legal Characters"
Change it to zero
for example:
Single Player Enforce Legal Characters=0
And see what happens. |
