quote:
a tutorial for new players

The decades that have passed are immeasurable. Regardless of the past he has forgotten or the daunting future that awaits him, David decides, once and for all, to emerge from the cave. Through the blinding sunlight and over the excrutiating sounds of civilization, David makes his way to a large building with a sign that reads "Wal Mart." He fumbles through the isles and comes upon a dusty box. "This looks interesting, an online game based on Ultima, one of my old favorites. I think I will try this."

UO makes a complete mockery of the ultima name. It might have been good for the first 2 years but then splitting the worlds and the persistant player scamming ruined it for most of the ultima fans.
