Your Favorite NPC Char

I'm interested who is your favorite NPC character in RPG Games??

My is Dakkon Zerthblade from Planescape: Torment. When I played the game (3 times: 2 finished-solo and party, 1 unfinished) talking with him was one of biggest pleasure of the whole gameplay. Gathering the peaces of his destiny, one by one, as precious crystals, his desperate devotion to your karmic circle...I haven't met another Char. in CRPGs who can stand next to him. My Kensai in BG2 was named after him, I d/l the voice of Dakkon just to hold some more time the same feeling of eternal devotion and fatalism.

Right now I'd say Grunty from JA2.

NORDERN (sp) from PS-T. Funniest dialogues with Annah (second favourite) I've ever heard.

It's Nordom, he's a Modron. It's kind of easy as it's the same word but then written the other way around.

My favourite is Annah, you gotta love that "young brash girl" even with a tail

Tomi Undergallows from Neverwinter Nights. Too bad he can't fight better, I'd have kept him with me through the whole game. He is so cool!

Fall-from-Grace. She had such an interesting story and a bit of mystery. It was kind of cool getting to know her.

Hmmmm, different people, different tastes!
My "second one" is Irenicus from BG2. I couldn't understand why we had to battle against him. He is so tragic figure. A man who has the courage to revolt against the Gods themselves. And, me-the child of a God, my heritage is unmatched with all those "Baal Powers"; supported by the most powerful mage (Elminster), side by side with Party of 5 more fighters, paladins, mages...He was One vs. All. Lonely human who had the power and brevity to follow his wishes

My favorite character in PST is Vhailor.... unyielding eternal dispenser of justice. Too bad he's so hard to keep in the party.

Overall... hm... so many to choose from.

Morte, with Noober (from BG1) a close second.

As this thread proves, PST had the best characterisation of any game I've encountered. I was so attached to Morte, Annah, Grace and Dak'kon that I couldn't bring myself to reform my party. Never thought that would happen.

Nowhere near on the same level, but I did also enjoy the beserker in Balder's Gate (Boo;s companion, his name escapes me): "I'm going to need a bigger sword".

I agree that the npcs from PS:T and a few npcs from BG2 are the most memorable characters. The writing for PS:T and the music combined to make some very vivid storys which, even if you forget the actuall story, you most likely will still remember the feeling that they tried to invoke.
