| i cant enter mages guild! so will i be able to read runes? |

(Gothic 2 Night of The Raven English Version 2.7)
I have entered the mercs guild, am at level 10 now, took Betsy the sheep to enter the order of mages but Pedro did not let me in.
So how will i learn to read runes? |

You answered you question yourself. You are in the MERCENARY guild, so you can't enter the MAGE guild. Use a little logics, man.  |

Of course Pedro doesn't let you know. You're a brutal mercenary! Do you really think they'll let a scumbag like you in?
You can only join one major guild (mercenary, militia, novices). Mercenaries can't learn how to use runes. They can only use spell scrolls.

I think the trick you were trying to use is doing all the Merc quests to the point of actually saying, "Yes I want to join the Mercs" so you can get the most XP, then going to join the Mages.
Well you are not spose to actually join the Mercs, but stop before the last talk with Lee, then get your sheep and go to the Monastary.

Read runes? Did you mean read tablets? If so, anyone can learn that once you get to the addon world. |
