Most of the Illinois State Gov Agencies use Compaqs. There are no complaints. But most of my gamer friends have negative things to say about compag.
Could it be that Compaqs are good business machines OTS but not good for Customizing.
Hmmmmmm. I want a Falcon, a Area 51, or Voodoo gamer Dream machine. Does anyone have about $4,000 i CAN HAVE....

Yes, that is true, there are good to office, but not good for gaming. |

We have Compaqs at office, too. Well, they're at least better than the IBMs we had before that... but to be true, the only good Compaq I ever had was my Armada (still have it). But even that isn't suited to gaming.

Just thought you would like to know the latest.
I have downloaded this software that checks your system components. It's call SiSoftware http://www.sisoftware.co.uk/ when I run the system performance check i get this message.
Warning W2521:
AGP bus speed is too high. Reduce Frontside Bus speed or FSB/AGP multiplier.
I asked Compaq how I can change these settings and here was their reply.
