1.01 KOTOR problem

I installed new 1.01 patch for KOTOR and now I can't run the game.
Now when I click on SW icon,computer starts to read my CD,but when it finishes nothing happens.
I have 45.23 detonator drivers installed
my 1.00 version was working ok, but I had sound problems so I though I can solve this with this patch, now I can't even start the game
Please help

The best advice I can give you, is to visit the tech forums at the official Bioware and Atari sites. You may find a solution already posted.
