Seal of Evil...

This was the forth demo I downloaded this week, after Gangland, Beyond Divinity and Sacred (in no particular order). I must say that Divinity came on the top.

Anyway after paying 10 seconds I realize that the title could be "Prince of Qin 2", anybody remembers that title? So far the graphics are much better than Prince, but this is as far as improvement goes. I reached level 3 and only role playing here is to how to distribute 5 points between 5 attributes (metal, wood, water, fire and earth). Of course there are some different skills for different classes but I have yet to figure out how to choose them (might be demo limitations).

I liked the idea of mini map in the corner highlighting friendly and foes creatures with different color dots. As the area map I think it doesn't function properly since I can't scroll in any direction nor zoom in or out. Yes... the scrolling it is not implemented so wherever you go there you are.

The monsters you fight have hundreds of HP (no exaggeration) and since you don't have money to buy better weapons not to mention armor you have to use guerilla tactics (attract and evade). So far I fought some snakes, spiders, trees and very nasty grass, I also saw some flying creatures but I wasn't ready for them. My adventuring right now is limited to picking up wood and stones (material for future weapons making and everything else I hope, but since I do not have the construct skill I just carry them in my inventory).

Which brings us to the screens:
-inventory is divided into six categories, nothing spectacular.
-equipment, well do not expect a lot to wear (one ring, boots, hat and necklace plus the regular armor and weapon slot).
-character creation is not too creative as mentioned above.
-and finally the log book which is exactly the same as in "Prince".

Demo runs pretty good so far only one crush during save. But I will do the same thing what I did with "Prince of Qin" wait for discount.

I think I'll skip this one. Although the BD demo frustrated the heck out of me I have some faith in the final game and Sacred seems like a fun action game - that will keep me busy for a while.
