So, is there any way that we, here, could play online in the demo?
You can PM me if you want my IP so I could host a game. _________________ Make good choices. |

I believe that multiplayer characters automatically save when you exit the game. |

Good for you!
BTW--If you hate DS so much why are you trolling on a Dungeon Siege forum? Go over to Wizardry 8, that's a real rpg. _________________ ''Perhaps I'm old and tired but I always think that the chances of finding out what really is going on are so absurdly remote that the only thing to do is to say hang the sense of it and just keep yourself occupied. To be honest I was pleasently surprised when I played the demo.
I didn't expect that because I didn't like Diablo at all at the time.
What I missed in Diablo (and Baldurs Gate for that matter) was a free moving camera.
For me this makes a lot of difference since I can now view the action in whatever view I like best.
It's still a simple, linear, point&click and hack&slash game, but that's ok.
As long as I don't expect it to be anything more, I really can enjoy the monster bashing and playing with the camera
I'm still not sure if I'm gonna buy it though. The current pricing is a bit too much for such a "simple" game in my opinion.
I think I'll wait and see if I can get a bargain somewhere soon.
Some shops are already dropping the price a bit so I'm just gonna be a patient little gamer |

1. I started this topic in the CRPG forum.
2. Wiz 8? ....nah, didn't like that game either. |

Yes, I moved it. Well, when you start discussion about Dungeon Siege somewhere else than in DS forum...

I have to agree with Val on this... (Excellent write up, BTW)... The game, like the Diablo series, may contain RPG elements... but it's more like a juice flavored drink that contains 10% 'real juice' than a 100% pure juice drink... Sure, the stuff that contains 10% real juice, still has the flavor of juice... but when it comes down to it... it's not 'pure' RPG... (or, more aptly, CRPG)... I didn't buy the game with the demo tucked under my belt... I bought it based upon reviews... and didn't expect it to be anything other than what it was... a good action-adventure game... with RPG elements. A game that definitely did much of what the Diablo series did... but with much more polish... and a certain 'charm' that Diablo didn't really posess...
