Yes, it's really a good game, and it will last you for hours. I wouldn't call it wasxting your money.

If you have a low-end system, you might be disappointed. If you have a very short attention span or require constant direction, you might be disappointed. Other than that, I think you'll find it a good use of your money.

I personally enjoyed Morrowind, but I can't say I would openly recommend it. If you have a low end system, I suggest you only buy it if you're a diehard Elder Scrolls fan. If you're not...... If you have to be lead in an RPG, then this isn't your game. Morrowind has a refreshing amount of freedom. Also, you need an imagination...really, I think the people who enjoy this game the most are the ones that actually "live another life." So if you love freedom or you're a diehard Elder Scrolls fan, I recommend this game.

However, if you haven't played Fallout and Fallout 2 you can get both at Wal-Mart for $9.

It's fun, but even though I'm an Elder Scrolls fan I have to warn you that it's a bit sluggish, meaning, not fast-paced... or rather, the game's pacing is up to you.
Other than that the world is wonderfully big and weird... even weider than that of the other TES games.

To me this game was a waste of money. It's shallow, repetitive, sluggish, unbalanced and plain boring. You'll like it for the first few days after you've bought it and then, suddenly, realize you're not having any fun and that the game will never "begin". Hard to explain. Almost like a sneeze that never erupts..

I think you can find better games to buy.

Yeah, before I got my new computer, I played Morrowind on a [600mhz, 128MB RAM, Ge2 MX] computer and I enjoyed Morrowind. However, it was sluggish and some people don't like that kind of thing.

i'm not such a hardened RPG fan. so far i've played BG2, Icewind Dale, Fallout and Gothic. i felt that gothic was the best of all the best CRPG game of all time and was hoping that MW will be able to surpass gothic. well i'm enjoying MW right now again after a 2mths hiatus. honestly the first 20++ hrs into MW i got kinda overwhelmed with all the side-quest that i decided to stop and play other games. onli right now i've gotten back into it and loving it esp with all the cool plug-ins.

it's still yr choice but i would say the MW is worth it and it's going to stay in my h/d for a long time coming.

They should have released some kind of "demo" of Morrowind, not a big one. But so that people would see how it were running on thier system.

Morrowind is fantastic game and I would recommend it at 100%, but it needs rather strong computer and, if you want to get most of it, a lot of free time. Also I've never played previous TES games and I don't mind that at all. There is topic with interesting links, that has a lot of background information (books, maps, history, etc) about all TES games.
