Running on XP

Thanks to a link we can now run Ulitima 7!!!!!!(http://exult.sourceforge.net/index.php)

Can anyone give advise on running these games on xp:

Ultima 8
Ulimta underworld 1 & 2

Since I haven't got any of those games I'll just have to give what advice I know.

RClick on the .bat file or executable or whatever you dbl click to run the game and select properties, and go to compatibility options tab and select run in compatibility mode for whatever. Go through them and test it out.

Also disable visual themes and try running in 256 colour mode.

You probably already know this but just making sure.

Also trying running the game in pure DOS (*not* compatibility mode).
