Damn, its good to be #1

On a related note, can you imagine if this game plays anything like Gothic?
(In terms of dark atmosphere and adult themes) It would definitely fit the bill

Time to 'crush' your opponents and hear the 'lamentations of their women?'

I watch the uncut version whenever its on. Thats like the ONLY movie based on a comic book that did any justice to the real character

In fact the movies are (as well as the comic books) based on the fiction by Rober E Howard (20ies/30ies) and L Sprague The Camp and Lin Carter (up till the 70ies). They are great as well. Try them once!

hope its as much fun as the first Conan game

i used to play (and still have somewhere) the first conan game. it was a lot of fun.. running around the town, sneaking into homes and theiving, and going to exotic temples and dungeons.

i hope this one is as much fun to play, besides looking prettier.

I tried out the demo, and the graphics and feel of the game is great. It runs smoothly on my setup, but couldnt go any further when Conan came to a tanglewine that he was supposed to climb. Whats the controls for this game?

The demo seems a little messed up. It's hard to get to the main menu because the videos dont want to play and when I have managed to get to the main menu it crashes when i select new game...

You have to push the alt button which serves two functions..jump or activate. You'll know to push it cause a picture of a hand appears.

This game has a real Blade of Darkness feel to it. The only real problem I had with the demo is the camera control but it would pop back to normal if I blocked.

Played this demo yesterday. Seems appropriate for a Conan game. It plays like a mixture of Rastan(Sega Master System), Golden Axe(Sega Genesis), and Two Towers(Xbox, PS2).

I don't like playing 3rd person action games with a keyboard. I will be renting this and probably buying when it hits the Xbox. Xbox LIVE multiplayer will be fun!!!
