Henchman quests and other stuff?

Okay....I've found the thing for the cleric henchmen... the recipe for the gnome....the special celestial stuff for the bard... I found Tomil's papers... I can't find the monk's ring or the barbarian's brooch. Where are they? I also read somewhere you can have two henchmen. I can't seem to get a second one. Also I found three doors with cryptic notes in a chest next to each door. Whats that about? Lastly....is there no item creation in the original NWN? Whenever I destroy something I can't seem to get any materials. I have 10 weapon crafting too. The only time I was able to get something leather hide from dogs, fire beetle belly's, and then bones from undead.

Hmm, I don't think that in the NWN OC campaign you can do any item crafting, equip items on you henchmen, or have a 2nd henchman. I think that this is mentioned in the manuals.
Daelan's brooch is in a chest behind a couple of pirates in the Docs area. The ones that get hostile if you hang too much near them. I don't recall ever bothering with the monk to find his ring, though.

If you go from the city centre to the rich quarter of Neverwinter (where you find the dryad) you have to get through a plagued part of the city first. In this area you can find the ring in a chest in one of the houses. Good luck on your search!

Lady A is correct... even if you have Hordes of the Underdark installed you can't use multiple henchmen or weapon/armor crafting in the original campaign. At least... by default. I'm certain there are mods to the module out there that let you (but a second henchman really isn't needed in the original campaign).

Now come on, who couldn't use another mule to lug around their character's junk?

I know it was some time before I last started NWN but wasn't the inventory so big that I hardly needed even to use the Stone of I-forgot-what that teleported me to the nearest Aribeth (and later other persons)?

It seems big until you start playing a sticky-fingered thief.

My inv was always too small. I was carrying oodles of reagents waiting until I could finish Eltoora's quest so I could make stuff. I had tons and tons of pixie dust gargoyle skulls and fire beetle bellies.
