Random Wiz8 ramblings

Well, I am working my way through ascension peak trying to get a few more levels. Kinda putting off finishing the game to see what kinda creatures there are at the higher levels up there since the first time I played through I pretty much went straight for the savant. My party is probably one of my favorites: Sam, Monk, Lord and (hobbit)Ninja. I like the mix and the leveling isn't too bad. Plus you get alot of special abilities to fall back on. I made a fairy Monk though, thinking to capitalize on damage resistance on a low HP character. It worked fairly well, but got kinda boring towards the end when you realize you have been wearing the same armor since the monestary. It seems like all the stuff fairies wear, monks can't. Oh well, she still took second place in kills, so it worked alright. The ninja was pretty fun, I worked MA which was a change since I usually go with Nunchaka to prepare for the vampire chain, but it still was pretty cool. Her total skills were lower than everyones, but she still had a nice little kill pile, and her IKs were piling up once I hit the rapax castle. The samurai was awesome for pretty much the entire game. Once he got the Infinity Helm, he became a spell casting freak, and is basically the biggest killer by a long shot. The Dwarven Lord pretty much did exactly what I made him for. Maxed Vit. and Str. early enough to work those up, dual wielded Mauler and Diamond eyes and just sat there taking enormous amounts of damage and dishing it out as well. Anyways, just babbling on now. It is a great game and I am already thinking of a couple different parties to mess with. Has anyone ever tried an all bishop party? I was thinking of going with 3 of them to see how it plays out. I also started an all Valkyrie party, which is actually really cool. Anyways,

Sly

I think that's one of the biggest signs that Wiz8 is a great game--when you're already planning your next run before the current one is complete.
