Mage building- what's good and bad?

right now im playing as a priest and i'm thinking to myself (self, whats a good way to prepair him for when he becomes a member of the guild?) i know that tazok won't train unless your merc or unguilded so with amulet from the theaves and a ring my guy was able to achive 80str before becoming a novice. now from that time i was only able to pull up 30% in two-handed fighting. regardless it looks bad ass to see my mage in full robe walking around with the dragon slayer sword (and using it comparably ) but i was wondering what other combos have you fellow gamers tried with this guild?

30 for weapons ok with mage. Check the thread how to make a good mage for my opinion and there are a few other threads with some pointers. Search on mage and you should find them.

The thread I mentioned is in Gothic tips and tricks.
