Steel scorpions....armor.....and other miscellaneous stuff..

First of all...I LOVE steel scorpion traps....they can kick elite orc butt and heavy huge orc butt.....gotta love that. Also.....right now I got some crappy monk armor....where can I get some decent armor that needs only 40 str? chest armor that is. Also....throughout the game my strength stat keeps flucuating.....say its at 40....then the next moment for some reason it goes down to 38 or 37......whats with that? I'm not wearing any stat enhancing gear either....or using stat enhancing potions.....is this a bug?

For armor try the armorsmith or blacksmith in the market square that is east of the gardens. Also, the dwarven smith often has excellent armor.

As for your strength changing, I'm not sure. Are you using any skills that effect strength? Are there any negative effects on your character?

Fluctuating strenght - first time I hear about something like this in DD. Ofcourse if you do not talk about items/weapns/armor with strenght negative or positive bonuses. Then equiping such weapon will change your stats.

what skills use strength? I am getting annoyed cause I get burdened when my strength goes down and it takes awhile to go back to normal. The only skills I have been using are...restoration...repair....axe....and thats it..oh and augment damage or something like that.

Are you using a cursed item?

There are skills that boost stats, like Bless.

It should show it in the item description if it's identified.
