I don't know how you managed to kill him with one incinerate, cause I've never heard of that before, and I certainly couldn't do it.

I maxed mental instead of dex so I got a high magic skill and then I just used it on him and boom. |

I tried using Incinerate without maxing mental and just 1 killed him.

Ahh, I see what the problem was. There is a bug where if you use incinerate on something and when it goes off you're a good distance away, it'll look like it worked, but it actually did no damage. When I was close to him when it went off it did kill him in one go. |

Incinerate is so overpowerd. But it's a level 9 spell and level 10 is the highest level. |

WoW!  i've just found a Ring of Magic (not sure about the exact name) that gives you +10% of magic abilities! It's in the cave between the tavern and the stairway you came from... the cave all dark with the fallen altar or whatever it is!
I want that game now!

btw: i didn't managed the way to use the fire to cook anything... any suggestion? clicking right-mouse-button 2 times and clicking on the fire doesn't do anything... putting the fish or everything else on the fire too... please help!

Just thought I should point out: A. your character should not even have ACCESS to level 9 spells at such an early level, that is a bug in the demo;
and B. your character does NOT have access to level 9 spells in the revised demo they released, so it seems they caught that bug

Hey Phest, how did u open the door to the captains? (the door that requires a password in demo i presume) I tried picking it but unsuccesful, I have 198 picking techincal skill level (includes picking), what level do u have//?? |

I hope you talking about this door in the tavern. If you put all your skill points into dexterity and pick locking you should open that door. In demo I only got one level and spend the points to upgrade these skills.
