Game works fine, but crashes on exit

About 1 in 5 times I quit the game, it crashes to a BSOD. Then when I restart my computer and run gothic again it has to do that 'configuring virtual system...' thing again.

My computer restarts before I get a good look at the error though. Not the biggest problem since the game works, but I don't like to start my computer over and over, and then have to run that virtual disk thing all the time.

Any help would be appreciated.
