This is the sense it makes to me....

The Sleeper needs to be awakened, and the orcs are now afraid of it and so they aren't going to do it. The Sleeper then see's that there are a lot of convicts about to be put in a magic barrier, people that might do rather erratic things to get out. The Sleeper then amplifies the barrier, and locks itself in control of it so when it is free to roam, it can shut it down. It sends a message to Y'Barrion to go find it's old temple in the swamp, and start a following. Yada yada, the story with our STILL unnamed hero occurs and if I remember correctly, the Sleeper gets sucked in to the hole behind it completely, them pops back out. Maybe it used the power it had invested in the barrier in an attempt to resist the banishment.

Your thoughts?

I REALLY dont want the sleeper to be in the sequel(he was so much a soporific enemy I fell asleep too), unless hes among a whole new cast of arch demons. It would be cool if there were like an arch-molerat or shadowbeast(I am so kidding).

It seems to be dragon fighting time. I knew it was about time to see a dragon. Whats a nRPG without a dragon? A drag.

The sleeper is banished, not dead. How can you kill a pandimensional being? He got the hell shocked out of him by Uriziel and got sucked into the wormhole.

I think Cromanin is NOT going to be in G2. Cromanin is inferior to Xardas' power(over undead). It was ment to summon dead creatures.

WHen was the last time (in gothic) you were ever owned by a skeleton?

Controlling demons and golems are way better.

Did you see scary movie2? Remember whe nthe skeleton was chasing those girls(funny scene inolving anaeroexic humor)? If you didnt see scary movie2 I wont spoil it.

i think they put the barrier over the fallen sleepers temple and therefore it added his magic to it and therefore u have an extra mage to form an oversized barrier. make sense now they had no idea that the put it over the sleepers temple. they didnt know his magic was still useful.
thank you

I just think it would be cool if you ran into a friend or relative of that guy and had to tell them of his death. I just think it's cool to have a lot of references to a prequel. Anyone here ever play the "Kings Field" games on playstation? Gothic kinda reminds me of those games. Very imersive experience with lots of atmosphere. I'm not comparing Gothic with those games because they're 5-6 years old now and look terrible compared to todays games, but until I played Gothic no other games drew me into the atmosphere like those did.

We all know we want to find out hes the prince of Khorinis or something.

Then Urshak becomes head shaman, and peace with the Orcs become feasable.

Remember the reason why they kicked him out?

HE knew the sleeper coudnt be "used" as a weapon for the Orcs to defeat humanity. The demon would have been too much for anyone to manipulate.
