| Help, how do you get magic ore? |

I've been playing gothic 2 for a few days and want to learn how to make magic ore weopons but i donm't have any magic ore i have been to the valley of mines and have a pickaxe but can't find any ore and using the pickaxe on ore doesn't do anything PLEASE HELP!!!! how do you get ore? |

I remember two places with ore :
1. go to the paladin's ship and then you get over the tunnel go to your right, there should be a lumb of ore at the end.
2. at chapter 2, Vatras will give you a mission to bring a massege to a guy outside the monastary, he'll give you in return a spell scroll of your choise and a item of your choise, you can chose between, a ring, ore and another thing i dont remember.
I know there is more, but i cant remember where.  |

I've been looking for the bandits to the south of the mercs but i can't find it, do you need to go up the south west stairs fisrt then look up there? |

you see the huge towers on the cliff faces? thats the bandits up there, and the ores in the mines...
Erm, look for a path that takes you up the side of the nmountain, then u just cross the bridge and ur there...

Thanks for the bandits location, I've been to the mines and i've used a pick-axe on the ore that the criminals mine for the paladins but nothing happens so I asume there's some other place where the ore is |

If you find the light fish with the message in the lighthouse when you clear the bandits you can go talk to the fish seller in khorinis and then not turn him in and he sells you fish with stuff hidden in. I think it was the one with the lump that had the ore.
