How much is computer gaming a part of you?

From where i live its sooo much a part of me. I admit i'm addicted but i don't comprimise my priorities. Why is it soo much a part of me? Well its just that computer gaming somehow gives me a place to relax, to live a different world than what we have...a world with little chaos compared to ours!

I'd say that it is a fairly large part of my life, but I don't play every single day.

I'd say they are a pretty big part of my life, but I also (like Val) don't play every single day.

Like Val and Lady Armageddona - gaming is a big part of my life, but I don't game every day. I do check up on gaming news site, like RPGDot, at least once a day tho.

Probably bigger than it should be, but not as big as I'd like it to be.

Computer games are able to drown real life (mainly mutliplayer games). It is really hard to defend yourself. You can be real hero in game, it is hard to be one in real life.
Therefor I made clear rules for myself. No multiplayer games at all. Max. 2 hours of gameplay per day, min. 2 days per week without games.
Well when you are weak in some area and you know it, you must somehow defend yourself. After all there is much goodness other than computer games.

It depends, when I've just found a game I really like, gaming becomes a way too large part of my life. But at the moment I'm only waiting for new games and play some old ones again, but not much. So at the moment it's not a big part of my life.

I think of gaming as a hobby. I collect games, play them, read about them, discuss them, and enjoy them immensely. Like many of the other people who posted, however, I don't play every day. There have been many times when I haven't played for weeks, and a few stretches when I haven't played for months. I have a lot of interests, a lot of goals, a family, and only 24 hours a day (minus 9-10 hours a day for sleep and transportation). Gaming is about fourth on my personal list of things to do each day, but number one on my list of leisure activities. Even if I had more time, I'm not sure I would fill that time with gaming, although I might devote some of it to playing more games.

normally it's about 99.999% part of my life (the other 0.001% is sleeping and eating... and school). but this week it's downsized to a simple 10%, 'cause my computer broke... i can only internet on my father's notebook now.
