Speeding up the Mouse in Menus |
|
I know This has probably been asked before as a long time ago when I played MW for the first time I was able to fix this prob...but I can't remember how (and no setting Trans to off and stuff doesn't work).
If I remember there was a setting in the ini file or a patch or something.. _________________ Shifter |

Man it's a shame MW community died so much. I know the game is really old now but it is still one of the best offerings out there..even graphics-wise...especially with the modding ability. Ah well..heh guess Iw ill have to experience it alone he he. _________________ Shifter |

I've heard of what you're talking about, but I don't remember anything about it. Perhaps cfm can help when he checks in again. Sorry. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Well, I know of no ini fixes or patches that would help with that. However, nudge your "popup help delay" just slightly above 0 and see how that goes. It makes a big difference on my machine, but I can't guarantee it'll work for you. _________________ Charlie Dobbie

Ah I had put it on 0. I will try just above 0 and see what happens.
I know there was some sort of fix..there had to be because it is so annoying I would never have played probably.. =D
Plus if you play at higher resolutions..the mouse barely moves at all..
If you play in 1600x1200 it would take twice as long to sort through inventory / menus that it would to cross the entire map of Vvar. _________________ Shifter |

Here's a link to a program that fixes the helps with the problem, as well as improves the frame rate... if you havn't already, you might try it out and see if it helps... (links to the program are towards the bottom of the page)

Here's a site that is regularly updated (usually daily) with news and mods, if you havn't seen it already:

Ah thanks will try that. Although I get a steady 50-60 even with full options (cept shadows since I hate shadows) in Balmora..heh.
I actually had to limit my framerates to 60 otherwise I was getting choppyness from too fast framerates (new comp..heh) _________________ Shifter |

Ah yes that was the program.
Awesome and perfect program. Allows the game to run smoothly at your desired framerate (60 for me) and stays there..also turned the max FPS back up to 240 and this program les you actually View farther than the max in game...and it adjusts auto according to you FPS.
Love it. Thanks.
Time to install the Bloodmoon patch and install the mods I want and get goin! _________________ Shifter |
