I don't have time checking, so here is my two questions:
1) I already have 1.01 patch, is the new patch 1.02 containing 1.01 patch?.
2) Should i start a new game with the new patch?, or it is okay to continue previous game?. _________________

1. Beats me.
2. Nope. I tested it with some saved games and they seem to run fine. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

I'm not sure which patch I have. I got the latest patch when I started the game about two weeks ago. Have any come out since then?
Thanks. _________________ SilkenKidden |

Yes. 1.02 was just released. It's the one that will let you map the movement keys. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Thanks.. I'll get it.
I have another question. Do you know if setting the game diffulty to the easiest level will make the mini games easier?
Thanks for all your info. _________________ SilkenKidden |

Don't think it does Silken Kidden.
Just makes the in-game combat sequences easier. |

Hmm... I haven't tied that. I guess I could do a few experiments with it. Of course, I generally don't have a problem with the game on normal difficulty. I'll give it a whirl. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

I applied the new patch. It's nice to be able to map the arrow keys and it's a lot easier to deal with inventory when you are in the ship. You can now access all party memembers there.
But I'm not too happy with some of the side effects. First of all, after putting down the patch, and starting the game I got a message that my GE Force 3 card was not quite up to par. Usable, but second rate. Sheesh. That was cutting edge and over $300 when I got it a few years ago with my new spiffy P4. How fast things get outmodded.
Worse yet, the game is slower on loading and in some other places. I got a memory error too and had to reboot my machine. Ugh. I know some people are having problems with the game already freezing. If you don't need to map the arrow keys, maybe you'd be better off without the patch. _________________ SilkenKidden |

In computer/IT industry, a "few years" means a long, long time ago, in Galaxy far, far away... ^_^The newest, fastest and hottest machines now is with Athlon 64 FX or Pentium4 Extreme Edition; both specially for high end multimedia and gaming purposes.
BTW i haven't test the new patch yet. _________________

I had originally complained about a game crash here. But I want to change that. I think the crash occurred because I decided to save just when the game was revving up for an encounter. The game does have some memory leaks now. Windows pops of a warning window that I'm low on memory. (I have 512!) When I get that I stop and restart the game. _________________ SilkenKidden |
