Best Camp

I'm not talking about Camp politics, whether Gomez is a prick or not

I'm talking about atmoshphere. Which was your favorite camp as far as design and atmosphere? I personally loved walking around the Old Camp at night, with people sitting around the fires and chit-chatting, a few people strumming away on lutes. It just felt real....

Definately my favorite place in the game, although the New Camp was more scenic.

I like the New Camp the most, with the Rouges smoking weed around their campfires, and the workers in the rice fields.

The New Camp was the camp that felt best for me the first time I played the game. I enjoyed being there the most, and in Gothic it's a good camp. Well, since you can train yourself to be both a mage and a warrior, I like the NC the most since it's easier to be a warrior in the beginnig and a mage at the end.

I loved the old camp, felt kinda friendly and functioned more like a real town (arena=stadium, Castle=town hall, campfires=bongs) I wish you could have stayed with the old camp through the game, become heavy guard, then ore baron or something, that would rock!

The only thing I liked about OC was killing everyone in there after you got the teleportation rune

In chapter 2 I killed everyone in the Old camp except the ones that you can't kill. I don't know, but it felt rather empty after that.

The swamp camp was my favorite; the atmosphere of the place was just so cool, with all the buildings in the trees, especially the training grounds, and the people sitting around listening to the teachers all day long. Plus, if you got bored, you could go out and kill a couple bloodflies or swampsharks for fun.

I liked the Old Camp because it was the most alive and lively, and the other camps were dark and sorta scary. Like the swamp camp which is dark because its under all those trees and stuff, and then the New Camp is under that cliff. Also I loved the Old Camp music. It was a lot more "friendly" then the other music.

the music did help set the mood, the old camp's usic made it feel the most 'important'

I liked the Old Camp's atmosphere best, especially at night. (Robbing all the Diggers ) No, I really liked it.
