| How to use Troll amulet? Big uglies still attack me! |
|
Should I eat this amulet, or hang it on my neck or something? Goddamn! Greu_The_Great_Friend_of_Am_Shaegar gave it to me and in doesn't work!
First talked to Greu, then to Burwaka, then to Chinkasshh, then gave book to Greu, at last spoke to Burwaka again. What's next? Is it useless at last? I don't want any troll genocide! And i'm very poor sneaker. Help me, please.

If you run into them too soon the amulet doesn't help with all of them. So wack away. The EXPs will only help. I'm assuming you had them clear the path already. Sounded like you were past that part. |

I know the first time I came upon that troll who was fighting some goblins, my sword apparently accidentally hit him at some point. he didn't attack me, but when I'd double click him, he would give the "me kill human" blah blah attack dialogue - yet he stood still and didn't move to fight me.
as soon as I came upon the next group of trolls later in that level, they attacked me, and when I went back to that first one, he finally attacked me. so I reloaded, made sure I never hit him in the fight, and the amulet worked. |

Hi, everyone!
Well, at last I chose sneaking strategy. All torches are doused (my little revenge to these imbeciles  and I need no amulet anymore. It's slow enough, but my pacifist character is not disappointed.

so when i come down to the level with the troll fighting off the goblins, i'm not supposed to kill a single one? the two trolls in the beginning of that level attacked me automatically, what was i supposed to do? |

When you get the amulet from Greu you can walk past all the trolls. Don't get into the fight, the troll will win and then you can pick the bodies clean after he is done. If you don't have the Amulet, leave and get it. If you want to kill them you can but it is very hard until later in the game. Hope you have a save game before going in this level, or can turn around and leave right away. If you need more help let me know what part of the game you are at. Good Luck.

I had the same issue: you can't enter that level (even briefly) before you have the amulet. This turns them hostile and can't be changed. Don't worry about it, however, as cmckj50 indicated come back later and kill them all - the experience is helpful. |

This is not true, when I watched the fight the troll got killed. Where do I get the troll amulet? I know, "Greu", but where is he? |
