Sure. In fact last month I got my little brother hooked on it. Of course he had to force himself to stop because it was consuming all of his sleep time.

I have Diablo 2 + LoD still installed here on my PC and from time to time I play it.
My roommate here on university college play it far more. He has many characters with high levels (barbarians, necoramcers, druids, magicians, amazons, paladins and assasins).

89 Sorc
80 Sorc
60 Zon
40 Barb
30 Necro

My friend's characters that I play:

85 Druid
75 Sorc
70 Sorc
6 Mules

It isn't that much fun, ever since he duplicated that Ethereal Hellslayer with a Zod in it.

SUpposedly Blizzard cracked down hard on dupe owning players. Thus crushing what little fun remained in the game.

I keep meaning to reinstall it. Hey, it's free to play so why not? But then I play another RPG or something and forget to.

What impressed me most in D2 was Tyrael (yes, I have a certain faible for angels ). But the game in itself became a little boring after a while, in singleplayer and multiplayer. I kept my savegames on the file server, though, so I might watch the FMVs whenever I felt the need to.

Nope, the dupes are still there... except for some armor, but the Hellslayer remains.

When I just checked it (2 minuntes ago) I saw a level 196 character...I think Blizzard is having some real problems.

P.S. I play on closed Battle.net

Poor Blizzard. On one hand it's laughable to watch players run all over them. On the other... these people will be running a MMORPG? I have friends who won't touch WoW with a hundred foot pole... fearing 'BattleLag' (though WoW should be run on its own network and servers, right? YOu pay a monthly fee for them so it's not the hand me down office machines that handle Battlenet)...

after the defeating it on the 2nd hardest mode, I'd had enough, think I got 1 paladin as high as 56 online...
D1 was way way better, imo
the crunched all the graphics down to include all that extra land to the point where the graphics looked like something from a SNES
