That tends to get the guards after you. Though I didn't take any crap with my evil mage.
"Your tone begs a beating, blacksmith" says the level 5 mage to the level 25 black smith in the first town. 12 seconds later the blacksmith, and all guards withing sight, are dead. mages are a LITTLE on the overpowered side...

mental 2, stun and harm (black necro 1), and agility of fire (fire 1) for the dex/speed needed to cast like a madman.
I had the EEEEEVIL background with the -20 reputation for 20 points of magic power (useless background, but in character. Actually, I modded it so it functioned like the only child background as well and called it "Destined for Darkness"), but it's un-needed.
