Do RPGs make you see the world differently?

As for me...well somehow it has...just the exploring part. I like exploring in RPGs...in world maps i mean(like in ffVII tales of destiny2. THe world today is so explored. The only thing left is the sea which i wouldn't go so deep myself.

I wouldnt say they make me see it differently, but because of the type of games they are, they have definately drasticaly affected my logic skills, which in-turn makes me understand the way the world works in a different way than most people do.

After playing so many games, mysteries rarely surprise me anymore.

No. I didn't like the world before I played RPGs and I still don't like it.

Games makes me wonder why are there no elves and magic in the world. You know, I somehow am sure that if there were I would be an elven sorceress

I would be wondering why there are no cars, and think that if there was, I would be a taxi driver...

Affect how I see the world? No more than any other entertainment medium.
