Sounds like you are in the Key Master's tricky lock system. If you already have one blue light on the floor, and saw a movie of the ring spinning and bolts snapping into place, then you need to do something similar three more times. You need to go into the two side rooms with the large gear wheels and use each twice. This will raise the gates in each of four rooms (two up and two down). You will have to fight the monsters and solve the puzzles in each room (like it sounds you already did once). Then you can get the door open and move on to the next challenge.

Is this something only for Mercs?
I am a Paladin lvl 36 and have killed the collonel but did not see anything like this.
Sounds cool though.

Just to make sure.
- We are talking abt Orcish collonel in the cave close to the city walls?
I just killed him and all the others and picked up stuff I could find and left with the map to kill others marked on the map. I suppose I've missed something again.....
- If there is another place where is that and what am I supposed to do?
- I am now in ch 5 can I still do that anyhow?

A mercenary can do nothing with the Tears of Innos besides selling it. Too bad, I think that's little weird, but that's just the way it is.
As a paladin you can use it to consecrate your sword for the second time.
A mage can drink it it gives: +5 strength and +5 dexterity permanent, 5 min fast walking and full healing.

On the other side, Mercs are the ones who can really make good use of Dragon blood and Dragon scales to make nasty weapons and heavy armor. Mages and Paladins just sell them.

I'm in ch. 6 and I'm at the part where it's a couple of towers and a looooong drop down into a pit or somthing, I got there by going through the secret entrance in the orc colonel's throne room. I just killed a second fire dragon and I'm helplessly stuck. Plz help!!!

if you use your bow or crossbow the switches on the towers will be visible.
