I need a translator sitting over my shoulder. Or a link to the English demo. I don't see why they are keeping it under wraps, I think us fans have been patient enough that they could release the demo for download without a publisher. |

It could be that some potential publisher(s) don't like a demo to be out before the official release. Just an educated guess

I'm betting that we hear some good news before this month is over.
Things are definalty moving in the right direction (english demo for review purposes, english voice-samples for download, thorsten visiting this board and hinting to an English release/publisher soon).
Yes, I'm confident that the English Gothic will see the light of day within 2 months and probably less if we're lucky

Well Thorsten has not exactely been overwhelming the board. I guess just when he has a newsbit to dish out does he visit. I am begining to think that PB must be hard to work with... Some publisher would have picked it up by now were there no hurdles to cross. |

Anyway, I understand a little german, so I downloaded the demo, it looked cool until I managed to start the game, all I saw then were black screens 
Everything about the game looks incredibly cool. I'll gladly learn german to a level to be able to play the game if this english version thingy is going to take long

Well I did not have the problem of getting a black screen when the game was supposed to start. Sounds like you are having some technical difficulties! I had the problem of speaking no German. They keep dangling the carrot as far as when the thing is actually going to be published in English. I can't help you with the black screen. I didn't have any troubles getting it to run the first time, but it didn't do me any good <:

Hello,
there might be a misconfiguration with your graphicsadapter. Is it a GeForce?
Look in your configuration-menu of the adapter and look if 'enable fogtable emulation' is checked. If not, do it.
