Hi all,
The game runs well but when I quit the game the computer freezes.I have to go to task manager to go to the desktop.any opinions thanks to all who answer

hey val It is unpatched,xp home.fully tricked out p4 3.2 9800 xt.hope you can help. ps I ran the updater at start of the game.today I got to the escape pod when I clicked use the computer froze. fixed the problem game runs ok at 800x600 looks bad.doesn't make sense to run grafics at this res. with new video cards

Strange. Have you updated the drivers on your card? I assume you're using a Radeon, correct? Those Catalyst drivers stink.

yes I have.The only choice I have is to try higher res. untill it crashes than keep it at the next lower setting.why would a company produce a game that is not meant to look as well as possible.This new card runs bloodmoon in snow storms with intense fighting and just kicks A--.thank you for your intrest and suggestions Zuman
